If you’re anywhere near Derby with kids in the 4-7 range, this place is genuinely worth the trip. The animal feeding is the real draw — staff are friendly and actually take time with the little ones rather than just pointing them in a direction. Then there’s the ice cream, which is made on-site and honestly hard to argue with after a walk around the field. Plenty of open grass to burn off energy, picnic tables if you’ve brought your own food, and shade trees for when the sun actually shows up. Parking’s easy, you can keep an eye on the kids without constantly chasing them, and it makes for a pretty solid afternoon out without breaking the bank.
