Neatherd Play Park

Right on the edge of Dereham, this one’s a proper local favourite for families with little ones. The play area covers the basics well — swings for different ages, a decent climbing frame, sandbox, and a water feature the kids inevitably end up soaked by. What makes it worth the trip though is the duck pond nearby and the walking paths that loop through open green space, so you can actually stretch your legs while the dog gets a run around. Shade trees keep things bearable on warmer days, and parking’s easy enough that you’re not circling the street for twenty minutes before anyone’s even had a go on the swings.
