Moorgate Play Park

Decent little spot if you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids in Dereham without making a day of it. The slides get a solid workout and the sandbox is genuinely popular — bring a bucket and spade and small ones will be happy for ages. Parking’s easy enough, which makes the school run drop-and-play situation pretty painless. Fair warning though: there’s next to no shade, so on a proper sunny day you’ll want sunscreen and maybe a hat or two.
