Morton Field and Play Park

Locals know Morton Field as one of those spots where kids can actually spread out and run without tripping over each other. The open grass field is the real draw — plenty of room for a kickabout or just letting younger ones burn off energy. There’s a climbing structure and swings for the playground crowd, and the little animal garden tends to stop younger visitors dead in their tracks. It backs up nicely against the quieter edge of Bourne, with trails and greenery nearby if you fancy stretching your own legs while the kids do their thing. Sightlines are decent too, so you’re not constantly chasing anyone down.
