Bourne’s got a decent little setup here — the playground had a proper refurb not too long ago and it shows. The equipment is modern and well looked after, with a climbing frame, swings, slides, and a sandbox the younger ones absolutely gravitate towards. It’s fully fenced with a gate, so you’re not constantly doing head counts while trying to sit down for five minutes. There are picnic tables and benches dotted around, shade trees for the warmer days, and a pond nearby that makes the whole setting feel a bit more relaxed than your average park. Good for kids roughly two to ten, and genuinely one of the tidier spots in the area.
