Channels Play Park

Right on the edge of some lovely woodland trails, this one’s worth the trip if you’re already planning a walk in the area. The kids get slides, swings, and a tire swing — nothing too flashy, but a solid mix that keeps toddlers and older ones both occupied. The shredded tyre surface underfoot is a nice touch, softer than concrete and easier on knees when they inevitably take a tumble. Honestly it’s the setting that makes it — trees nearby, decent views, and enough space to let them run between the play area and the paths without feeling cramped.
