Honestly one of the better playgrounds in Chelmsford — the zipline alone is enough to get kids dragging you back every weekend. It’s fully fenced, which makes a real difference when you’ve got a toddler who thinks running toward traffic is a great idea, and the surface underfoot is soft enough that the inevitable tumbles aren’t a drama. Slides and swings cover the basics well, and the whole setup suits kids from tiny ones right up to around eleven before they inevitably migrate over to the skate park next door. Grab a coffee from the café nearby and you can actually sit and watch without freezing or rushing — proper family afternoon sorted.
