Friars Wharf Children’s Playground

It’s a small one, no question about that, but when you’re in the city centre with kids who’ve hit their limit, Friars Wharf does the job. The open grass field next to it gives them somewhere to burn off energy when the play equipment itself feels a bit limited. You’re right by the shopping centre and ice rink, so it fits nicely into a longer day out rather than being a destination on its own. Fair warning though — older kids tend to hang around here, which can make it feel less welcoming if you’ve got little ones in tow.
