Cassiobury Park

If you’re local to Watford, you already know Cassiobury is the park — 190 acres of green space that somehow still feels like a proper escape even though you’re in the middle of the town. The slides keep younger kids busy while parents claim a picnic table and actually get to sit down for five minutes, which is rarer than it sounds. Walk the path along toward the water and it genuinely feels like you’ve left the urban noise behind. It’s well looked after too, which isn’t something you can say about every park around here.
