Harebreaks Recreation Ground

If you’re local to Watford and haven’t taken the kids to Harebreaks yet, you’re missing out. The climbing frames are genuinely impressive — not the token two-rung stuff you get at smaller parks — and the zipline gets a solid queue going on sunny afternoons. Beyond the play area, there’s a football pitch, a bike track, and enough open grass that you can actually spread out without sitting on top of someone else’s picnic. The woodland edge nearby means you can tack on a proper walk if you’ve got energy to burn. Parking’s right there too, which honestly makes all the difference.
