Cwmcarn Drive Children’s Park

Got a soft spot for this one — the views over the water make it feel like more of a day out than a quick park trip. The slides and swings are solid for kids of all ages, and the grounds are kept in genuinely good nick, which you don’t always get around here. Pack a cool bag because the BBQ area and picnic tables make it dead easy to settle in for a few hours. There’s parking on site and a walking path that takes you round near the lake, which the adults tend to appreciate as much as the little ones. Restrooms on site too, so no stressing about that.
