The Climbing Academy – “The Arc”

If you’re anywhere near Chippenham and even remotely curious about climbing, The Arc is worth making the time for. It’s got proper top-roping, lead climbing, and auto-belays, plus two dedicated bouldering rooms — so whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who actually knows what they’re doing, there’s something here for you. The staff are genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions, which makes a real difference when you’re trying something new. Grab a coffee from the on-site cafe after your session, because you’ll need it — and with parking sorted and the trails nearby, it fits into a solid half-day out.
