Pegwell Bay Country Park

If you’re local to Ramsgate and have a toddler, this place is genuinely one of the better spots to spend a morning. The play area is simple — slides, benches, picnic tables — but the real draw is everything around it: coastal views across the marshland, proper walking paths, and a decent chance of spotting ponies or even bison if you wander far enough. Parents can keep an easy eye on the kids from the seating area, and the restrooms have baby changing, which makes a real difference. Parking is straightforward, and it never feels overrun. More of a slow, outdoorsy day out than a thrill-seekers destination, but that’s exactly the point.
