Ellington Park Play Area

Ellington Park’s play area is one of the better-kept spots in Ramsgate — the equipment is clean, the layout actually makes sense, and you can keep an eye on the kids without constantly chasing them around. There’s a solid mix of slides, swings, and a climbing structure, plus the play train which, honestly, the little ones absolutely lose their minds over. Shade trees and covered seating mean you’re not standing in full sun while the kids do their thing. The café nearby is worth mentioning too — friendly staff, decent food, and not overpriced, which makes a difference when you’re making a morning of it. Only real gripe is that it skews slightly older in terms of equipment, so if you’ve got toddlers, you might find yourself wishing there was a dedicated smaller kids’ area.
