Basingbourne Park Playground

Fleet locals know this one well — and for good reason. The play area has a solid mix of equipment for the 2–12 crowd, with a climbing structure, tunnels, slides, and a play train that younger kids absolutely go mad for. It’s enclosed and easy to keep an eye on, which makes a difference when you’ve got multiple kids running in different directions. When they’re done with the playground, the woodland trails and open grass field give you room to spread out a picnic blanket or kick a ball around for another hour. Parking’s straightforward too, so it’s an easy one to actually follow through on rather than talk yourself out of.
