Farnham Park Play Area

The wooden castle structure here is genuinely one of the better bits of playground kit you’ll find in the area — it’s got that proper medieval look rather than the generic plastic stuff you see everywhere else. Kids tend to make a beeline for the zipline, which is long enough to actually be worth queuing for. There’s decent space to spread out a picnic, with tables and benches dotted around, and the open grass means you’re not constantly hovering over little ones. A walking path loops round if you fancy stretching your legs while the kids do their thing.
