The zip wire is the real draw here — kids make a beeline for it every single time, and honestly it’s one of the better ones in the area. Churt Rec has that easy, unpretentious feel where you can actually relax on the sidelines without constantly hovering. There’s plenty of space for a kickabout too, which keeps the older ones busy while younger kids do their thing on the slides and climbing frames. It’s well looked after and the kind of place where you’ll recognise a few faces, which says a lot about a local park.
