Beach Green Playground

Right by the seafront in Shoreham-by-Sea, this fenced playground is a solid spot for families with kids anywhere from toddlers up to around 12. The zip wire is always the crowd-pleaser — expect a queue on a sunny afternoon — but there’s plenty more to keep them busy with the climbing frame, slides, and swings. Parents get benches and picnic tables, good sightlines across the whole area, and parking nearby, so it’s genuinely easy to make a proper afternoon of it. The open grass field alongside gives older kids room to roam, and the outdoor gym means adults don’t have to just stand around watching.
