Arboretum Park Playground

Decent little spot in Derby that doesn’t get nearly enough credit — the shade trees actually make it usable on a hot day, which isn’t something you can say about every park in the area. The grounds are kept in good nick, so you’re not navigating around broken equipment or dodging litter. There’s a solid open grass field if the kids just need to run off some energy rather than queue for the swings. Parking’s available too, which makes a genuine difference when you’ve got little ones in tow.
