Honestly, this one’s a bit of a letdown if you’re expecting a well-kept local spot. The bins tend to overflow and litter builds up, which makes it feel neglected more often than not. There’s no lighting either, so once it starts getting dark you’re pretty much done for the day — not ideal in a Canterbury winter. Worth knowing before you make the trip, especially if you’ve got younger kids in tow.
