The gear here is genuinely fresh — you can tell nothing’s been weathered or worn in yet, and the climbing structure in particular has enough going on to keep older kids challenged while the littles sort out the slides and swings. Being right next to the lake makes it one of the nicer spots to actually sit and watch the kids play without wanting to leave immediately. The shaded seating and picnic tables are well-placed too, not an afterthought. That 120-metre pump track alongside the park is a proper bonus — bring the bikes, because it’s the kind of thing kids will lap for an hour straight. Just sort out the bathroom situation before you head over, because there are none on-site.
