If you’re doing the Auckland–Rotorua drive and need somewhere to actually stop — not just a gas station — this is it. The pump track is properly sealed and gets a solid workout from kids on scooters and bikes while parents claim a shaded table and fire up the BBQ. Toilets are clean, parking’s easy, and there’s a pond nearby if you want to stretch your legs a bit further. Honestly one of the better rest stops in the Waikato for families who need to burn off some energy before getting back on the road.
