Tirau Playground

If you’re driving through Tīrau on SH1 and the kids need to burn off some energy, this little playground does the job. It’s right in the town center, which means you can grab a coffee from one of the nearby cafes while they run around — proper convenient. Tīrau’s already worth a stop for its corrugated iron shops and quirky local character, and this playground fits naturally into that quick break itinerary. Nothing flashy, but it serves its purpose well for families passing through the Waikato.
