Decent enough spot for a run-around, especially if you’ve got kids who need to burn off energy on the open grass — there’s plenty of room for a kick-about or just letting them loose. The playground itself covers the basics for toddlers through to primary school age, and parking isn’t a hassle which is always a bonus in Taupō. That said, bring sunscreen because shade is pretty much non-existent, and you’ll want to sort out a toilet stop before you arrive. Fine for a casual outing, just don’t expect too many bells and whistles.
