Whalers Gate Playground

Pretty no-frills out at Whalers Gate — the equipment is older gear, nothing flashy, but it does the job for younger kids who just want to climb and run around. The real drawcard is honestly the open grass field, which gives everyone plenty of room to spread out without feeling on top of each other. It’s the kind of spot locals use for a casual kick-about or letting the dog have a run while the kids do their thing. Don’t come expecting a destination playground, but if you’re in the area it’s a decent enough stop.
