If you’re after a decent stretch of legs with the kids, this reserve ticks the box pretty easily. The open grass field gives little ones room to run without much in the way of obstacles, and the walking path loops things together nicely. Being close to both the beach and bush means you can easily tack on a trail walk or a wander down to the coast — locals often do both in the same visit. It’s low-key, accessible, and honestly that’s the appeal.
