East End Playground

If you’re local, you already know East End is one of those spots you end up at on a Sunday without really planning it. The sandbox keeps the littlies busy while you grab a coffee from one of the nearby cafes and actually sit down at a picnic table for five minutes. The open grass field is great for a kick-about, and the walking path along the beach means you can stretch the outing out as long as you need to. Scenery-wise, with Taranaki in the background and the coast right there, it’s hard to beat.
