Locals have mixed feelings about this one. The slide is steep — like, genuinely steep — which some kids absolutely love, but it’s worth a look before you let younger ones loose on it. The poles are the other talking point; they’re fun for climbing and swinging around, but again, worth supervising closely. It’s not the most polished setup in New Plymouth, but the kids who like a bit of a challenge tend to gravitate here. Go in with eyes open and it can be a decent stop.
