The spider web climbing structure is genuinely the highlight here — kids go absolutely feral for it, and it’s one of the better ones on the Kāpiti Coast. There’s a water feature and the usual slides and swings, all sitting on soft fall surfacing, which is reassuring given the proximity to the nearby lake. Benches mean you can actually sit and watch without hovering, and the walking path around the water is a proper drawcard for the whole family, not just the little ones. Worth knowing though: locals have flagged that some safety upgrades are overdue, so have a look around before you let the kids loose. Quiet enough that it doesn’t feel chaotic, but busy enough on a good day that you know the community actually uses it.
