The flying fox here is genuinely one of the better ones in the area — kids queue up for it and adults get it, honestly. Since the renovation it’s a proper destination rather than just a patch of grass in Newtown, with solid BBQ facilities and picnic tables that actually make a full afternoon here worth planning. There’s a soccer field and open grass for burning off energy between turns on the zipline. Good for toddlers through to older kids, and the kind of place where families tend to linger longer than expected.
