If you’re heading to the lake foreshore anyway, this little dinosaur-themed spot is worth building into the trip. The big dino slide is the obvious drawcard for the 4–8 crowd, and there’s enough climbing and swinging to keep them occupied while you actually sit down for five minutes in the shaded seating. Lake Wānaka is right there, so the backdrop is pretty hard to beat. It’s small but well-placed, and locals know to time a visit around a lakeside walk.
