Allenby Park Playground

Locals have been pretty happy since this one got an upgrade — the soft turf surface makes a real difference, especially for the younger kids who are still finding their feet. There’s a solid climbing structure with a wall section and balancing logs, plus a slide that keeps the 2-and-up crowd busy for longer than you’d expect. The mountain views from the picnic tables are genuinely hard to beat, and having a BBQ area on-site means you can easily stretch a quick park trip into a proper afternoon out. Parking is right there, and the layout makes it easy to keep an eye on kids without hovering over them the whole time.
