Out on Waiheke in the Ōmiha area, this reserve is the kind of spot locals actually know about rather than the tourist trail crowd. It’s a quieter, more natural setting — good for letting kids roam and the adults actually decompress for once. Worth knowing it’s not wheelchair accessible, so keep that in mind before making the trip.
