Children’s Playground

If you’re spending a day on Waiheke, this spot makes it pretty easy to just stay put for hours. The playground sits right next to the beach, so kids can bounce between the equipment and the sand without anyone having to go far. There’s a solid open grass field for kicking a ball around, plus BBQ facilities and public restrooms on-site — which, honestly, makes all the difference when you’ve got little ones in tow. Works well for ages 2 through 12, and the benches mean parents actually get to sit down for once.
