Acres Lake Playground

Right on the edge of the lake, this spot has a genuinely lovely feel to it — the kind of place you don’t mind lingering even after the kids are done on the equipment. The walking path connecting Drumshanbo to Leitrim village is a proper highlight, flat enough for buggies and great for stretching your legs while the little ones burn off energy. Restrooms on site, which makes a real difference when you’re out for a longer stretch. Honestly one of the nicer family stops in Leitrim — the lake backdrop does a lot of the heavy lifting.
