Salthill Playground

Right on the prom in Salthill, so the kids get slides and swings with actual sea views — not bad for a Tuesday afternoon. It’s on the smaller side, but the soft surface underfoot makes it a solid pick if you’ve got little ones under seven who need somewhere safe to burn off energy. Benches for the adults, parking nearby, and you’re steps from the beach and the aquarium if you need to stretch the visit out. Fair warning though — on a sunny day this place fills up fast, so go early or expect company. The open grass beside it helps when the main equipment gets busy.
