Playground in Sean Walsh Memorial Park

The playground here is grand, but honestly the whole park is the real draw — those little lakes, the sensory garden, and enough open grass to wear the kids out properly. There’s a water feature in the play area which goes down a treat on warmer days, and parents can keep an eye on things easily from the benches dotted around. It works well for all ages, whether you’ve got toddlers who want to splash about or older ones who’ll disappear off onto the walking path. One of the better green spaces on this side of Dublin, and it shows — people actually look after it.
