Good shade is honestly half the battle with playgrounds in this part of NSW, and Coachwood delivers on that front. The climbing structure keeps older kids busy while toddlers can work through the slides at their own pace — there’s enough here to hold both age groups without too much negotiating. A few picnic tables sit under the trees, so you can actually eat lunch without baking. Parking’s easy, which matters more than people admit when you’ve got a pram and a bag full of snacks.
