Locals with young kids know this one well — it’s just easy to get to, which counts for a lot when you’ve got a toddler melting down in the back seat. There’s a solid climbing structure, slides, and swings to keep the school-age crowd busy, but the mini flying fox is honestly what gets the most action. The frog sculpture adds a bit of character too, and the kids always seem to notice it. A few shade trees dotted around mean you’re not completely cooked on a hot Canberra-region afternoon.
