Bicentennial Park

Locals know this Glebe spot is one of the better-kept secrets along the waterfront — you get those classic views of the Harbour Bridge and Anzac Bridge without fighting tourist crowds. Kids will keep themselves busy between the zipline, merry-go-round, and slides while you grab a picnic table under the fig trees. The bike track and walking paths loop around nicely, so it works just as well for a casual afternoon ride as it does for a morning run. Dogs are welcome here too, which on a weekend means the open grass field gets pretty lively.
