The harbour views are genuinely good, especially if you grab a picnic table near the water, and there’s enough open grass that dogs and toddlers can both do their thing without getting in each other’s way. The bike track keeps the little ones busy, the shade trees actually do their job in summer, and the toilets are clean enough that you’re not dreading the inevitable toddler emergency. Tramsheds is a short walk away if you need a coffee or something more substantial than whatever you packed.
