Calca Reserve

Forestville locals know this one well — it’s the kind of low-key reserve you’d walk past a hundred times before realising how solid it actually is. The equipment is well-kept, with a couple of slides, swings, and a seesaw that keeps the 2–12 crowd genuinely occupied. Shade trees do the heavy lifting on hot days, and the picnic tables make it easy to actually sit and stay a while instead of just hovering. Quiet street, no through traffic, mostly familiar faces — it’s a proper neighbourhood spot.
