If you’ve got a toddler and you live anywhere near Forestville, you’ve probably already discovered this one. The gate is the real selling point — you can actually relax for a minute without doing the constant perimeter check. There’s a climbing structure, swings, and a slide sized just right for the under-fives crowd, and the shaded seating means you’re not melting while you watch them go down that slide for the forty-seventh time. Picnic tables make it easy to stretch the visit into lunch, which honestly isn’t always a given with the smaller local parks.
