Maloney West Playground

If you don’t already know about this one, you’re welcome. Maloney West sits quietly near the bush trails at City Beach, and most people just drive straight past it — which honestly keeps it pretty good. There’s a decent open grass field where kids can actually run without bumping into each other, plus enough shade trees and seating that you can sit down for more than five minutes without melting in the Perth sun. The natural setting makes it feel less like a standard council playground and more like somewhere you’d actually choose to spend time. Worth bookmarking for when the bigger parks are packed on weekends.
