Maloney East Playground

City Beach locals know this one’s worth the visit, especially once the summer heat kicks in — the shade here is genuinely good, not just a token tree or two. It went through a solid renovation recently and came out the other side with a proper nature playground setup alongside the original basketball court, which thankfully they kept. The mix works well for different ages and moods, whether the kids want to climb and dig or just shoot hoops on the open grass. One of the better-sorted spots in the area, honestly.
