Ruby Grant Park Playground

If you live in Norman and haven’t made it out here yet, you’re missing one of the better playgrounds in town. The zipline alone is enough to keep older kids busy, but there’s also a merry-go-round, swings, and musical equipment — so even the littlest ones have something to do. The whole play area is fenced, which makes a real difference when you’ve got a runner on your hands. Restrooms, picnic tables, and shaded seating mean you can actually stay a while without misery, and the walking paths that weave near the tree line are genuinely nice for a post-playground lap. It’s well-kept, accessible, and honestly just a solid spot.
