The Playground

Honestly, this spot is one of the better-kept playgrounds you’ll find in Norman — the equipment actually looks like someone cares about it, which isn’t always a given. The AstroTurf surface keeps things cleaner than your typical wood chip situation, and kids aren’t coming home with mulch stuffed into their shoes. They’ve split it up nicely for different ages, so the littles aren’t getting bulldozed by the bigger kids. Shade is solid too, which matters a lot when you’re in Oklahoma and it’s 95 degrees by 10am. Good spot for the 0-10 crowd, and worth knowing about if you’re in the area.
