Jones Park Playground

This one was built by the community, and you can tell — it actually has everything kids need instead of just a couple of sad swings and a broken slide. There’s a separate fenced area for the little ones, which is a lifesaver when you’ve got a toddler who thinks they can handle the big climbing structure. Older kids stay plenty busy with the tire swing, sandbox, and that fortress-style climbing structure that tends to eat up a solid hour of energy. The shade trees and benches mean parents aren’t standing around squinting in the sun, and the whole spot is tucked into a quiet neighborhood so you’re not dealing with traffic noise or chaos. Honestly one of the better-designed playgrounds in Asheville for families with a spread of ages.
