Folsom Kids Play Park (Castle Park)

The castle climbing structure here is legitimately cool — kids go full medieval on it while parents actually get to sit in the shade and relax for once. There are separate areas broken out by age, so your toddler isn’t getting steamrolled by a pack of eight-year-olds. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables under the trees make it easy to stay for hours. The walking and bike path nearby is a nice bonus if you want to burn off some energy before or after the playground chaos.
