Swing High Playground at Memorial Park

One of the better playgrounds on the west side of the Springs, this spot at Memorial Park earns its regulars. The setup covers a lot of ground — slides, swings, climbing structure, tunnels, a sandbox, and musical equipment that actually keeps younger kids busy longer than you’d expect. Shade trees and covered seating make a real difference on hot summer afternoons, and the picnic tables fill up fast on weekends for good reason. Prospect Lake is right there, so it’s easy to turn a playground trip into a longer outing. Parking is straightforward, restrooms are on-site, and the open grass field gives older kids room to spread out while the little ones do their thing.
